2011 NMAI Film Festival

Interview by Elizabeth Weatherford, Film and Video Center, NMAI Excerpt from Interview: NM: I am a cultural anthropologist by training and am very interested in contemporary Native arts, the world of creative production, creative thought, for indigenous peoples. I’m very passionate about foregrounding Native talent internationally and so I’ve been working with the Venice Biennale. I really have to give the tribal college system a lot of credit for me being in this field professionally.
